It goes without saying that a meal from McDonalds is an experience in itself. Some of us are fans, others tend to stay away, but like it or not, almost everyone has been to the fabled golden arches.

My electric ukulele that I’m building before sanding starts on the body. Maple veneer front with inlay boarder. Rosewood fretboard, sides and back. Pin-up girl water slide decal, after it’s complete. Still need to find the perfect vintage volume control, and I may or may not add the veneer to the head stock. Haven’t made up my mind yet.

Scenes of Nature

I bought my Canon 60D in January of 2012. These are clips I shot from January up until now. I’ve been exploring the use of the Red Giant Magic Bullet Suite for the first time. A little overwhelming on what you can do with it, so I’m starting out slow.

Comments on what I can do to improve are most definitely welcome.

Chris Lenox Smith is a director/animator/composer working primarily in the mixed-media animation field. You may recognize some of his work from his days with Mixtape Club, formerly of Hornet Inc. Chris has worked with a variety of clients and artists, including Showtime, Google, Primus, They Might Be Giants, Passion Pit, and Tv On The Radio. He is a two-time winner of the ADC Young Guns Award, both for his directing work with Mixtape Club and his composing work with Huma-Huma. His work tends to focus on texture, tone and storytelling, synthesizing inspiration from the masters of the pre-computer era with modern techniques.
